The RPC Plug-in works in conjunction with the mental ray renderer in either application. Mental ray users can now render realistic RPC content with several features:

FEATURES
- Includes Mental Ray support
- Max 9 includes Mental Ray support for free
- All other versions must purchase a shader license separately
- Fixes bounding box issue in Mental Ray
- Instancing is now supported for Max and Viz
- 3D+ objects will now work with Radiosity in Max and Viz
- RPC Shadow Light must be version 1.0.3.0+ to work with this update
